Written in cross-border online collaboration, "Enterrer la robe" revolves around the "black snake", the road that connects Nejbir Erkol's hometown Nusaybin, located on the northern Syrian border of Turkey, to the local university where Nilüfer Gros worked between 2013 and 2017.  Nilüfer and Nejbir tell their testimonies about a female student who died in a traffic accident on the black snake, while their shared experience of the region hit by multiple wars reveals the female ghosts of the Armenian Genocide and the massacres of Kurdish communities.

The black snake cut by the border set by colonial powers reveals the centuries-old situation of women in a thousand and one countries built on the same geography.
